The Jim Fassel Foundation was established in 2001 in the aftermath of the September 11th terrorist attacks.

Like all Americans, Jim experienced a broad range of emotions as he witnessed first-hand the destruction and loss of life caused by the attacks and subsequent selfless efforts by public servants and volunteers to rescue and recover the victims.

The public response to September 11th was swift and generous as this country embraced and supported those most affected by the attacks. A great deal has been done. Much work lies ahead.
